Gold trades at Rs 48,110; Silver trades above Rs 67,000

Gold prices today rose marginally by 20 rupees at Multi Commodity Exchange for August contracts amid gains in gold prices in the international markets.

Gold was trading at 48,110 rupees per 10 gram. Silver prices declined around 70 rupees to trade at 67,180 rupees per kilogram for September Contracts when reports last came in.

In the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold was up at 1,817 US dollars and 10 cents per ounce. Silver prices were also up at 25 dollars and 20 cents per ounce.
