Manipur reports 1,104 new COVID-19 positive cases

In Manipur, 1,104 persons including 11 personnel from the Central Armed Police Forces were confirmed as new COVID-19 positive cases during the last twenty four hours.

In Manipur, 1,104 persons including 11 personnel from the Central Armed Police Forces were confirmed as new COVID-19 positive cases during the last twenty four hours. These cases were detected among the 7,594 samples tested.

On the other hand, 17 people lost their lives due to COVID-19 in the last twenty four hours thus taking the total fatality due to the pandemic to 1,326.

Meanwhile, 583 COVID-19 patients were discharged after recovery during the span. The total number of recovered cases stands at 70,985 and that of positive cases at 80,521. The recovery rate is 88.15 per cent. There are total 8,210 active cases in the state.

The number of doses of COVID-19 vaccine administered till yesterday is 9,21,729 including 99,374 second doses.
