Karnataka CM felicitates Tokyo Olympics-bound athletes in Bengaluru

Karnataka Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa felicitated Tokyo Olympics-bound athletes in Bengaluru today.

Karnataka Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa felicitated Tokyo Olympics-bound athletes in Bengaluru today. Tokyo Olympics qualified Swimmer Srihari Natraj, Golfer Aditi Ashok and Equestrian player Fouaad Mirza were paid a purse of 10 lakh rupees each on this occasion.

The Chief Minister announced a prize money of five crore rupees for the Olympians winning Gold, Three Crore rupees for Silver and Two Crore rupees for winning a bronze medal in the Tokyo Olympics.

The Chief Minister also felicitated the Coach of Olympians and took a selfie with the players. Karnataka Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Dr. Narayana Gowda and members of Karnataka Olympic Association were present on this occasion.
