Dr. Anil Bonde, National General Secretary BJP Kisan Morcha, on Saturday said that the Mahavikas Aghadi government in Maharashtra should accept the Centre’s agricultural laws in its original form without any changes. Speaking at a press conference in Mumbai, Dr. Bonde said although Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government has tried to change the Agriculture Act to give freedom of sale to farmers in the country, the Mahavikas Aghadi government in the state has introduced minor changes in the original draft only to show its uniqueness. He said the Mahavikas Aghadi government introduced three bills in the recent assembly session to enact its own laws and has invited suggestions on this. However, Dr. Bonde said a study of these bills reveals that while making minor changes in the Central Act, some erroneous provisions have been made in the State Bill and they should be withdrawn.
Dr. Bonde said, the Kisan Morcha demands that the Mahavikas Aghadi government should accept the laws made by the Central Government for the benefit of the farmers.
