Maharashtra CM assures state govt to ensure sufficient fund availability for implementing COVID-19 measures

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray assured that the State Government will ensure sufficient fund availability for implementing measures to contain the spread of COVID-19. While addressing a meeting of the State Disaster Management Authority, he directed the concerned authorities to plan with the help of the task force to prevent further spread of the deadly virus. AIR correspondent reports that Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said that the discussions are ongoing as to whether those who have taken both doses of COVID vaccine should be tested again or not. In Mumbai, level three restrictions are still in place as the crisis persists. However, the Municipal Administration is considering giving concessions to those who have taken two doses, at places other than Railways. Additional Commissioner of civic body Suresh Kakani said that a meeting will be held in Mantralaya on July 15 and a decision will be taken in this regard.
