Meghalaya confirms 426 fresh cases of COVID-19

Meghalaya logged nine COVID-19 related deaths with 426 fresh cases in the last 24 hours. The deaths were reported five from East Khasi Hills, two from West Garo Hills and one each from West Jaintia Hills and West Khasi Hills districts.

The Directorate of Health Services stated that the total number of deaths due to COVID 19 in the State has reached 899 while the total active cases stand at 4,391. The State also reported 417 recoveries tallying the total recovered cases to 48,380. The total confirmed COVID-19 cases in the State stands at 53,670 while 7,88,810 doses have been administered so far.
