Wimbledon Tennis: Novak Djokovic enters semi-finals beating Marton Fucsovics while Denis Shapovalov locks horns with Karen Khachanov in quarter-finals

In Wimbledon Tennis, World number one Novak Djokovic has entered the Men’s Singles Semi final after beating unseeded Marton Fucsovics of Hungary in straight sets 6-3, 6-4, 6-4 a short while ago. The second Quarter final match is underway between 10th seed Denis Shapovalov of Canada and Russian Karen Khachanov.

In remaining Men’s Singles Quarter final matches, eight-time Champion Roger Federer will clash with 14th seed Hubert Hurkacz of Poland while Seventh seed Matteo Berrettini will face 16th seed Felix Auger Aliassime tonight.

Meanwhile, the semi-finals line up is complete for Women Singles.

Australian World Number One Ashleigh Barty will take on 2018 winner Angelique Kerber of Germany in the last four. While Barty defeated compatriot Ajla Tomljanovic, Kerber defeated 19th seed Karolina Muchova of Czech Republic in the quarter finals.

Earlier, second seed Aryna Sabalenka set up a semi-final clash with eighth seed Karolina Pliskova. Sabalenka ended the fairy-tale run of upcoming Tunisian star Ons Jabeur while Pliskova outplayed Viktorija Golubic of Switzerland in quarter-finals.
