Karnataka-Samarthanam Trust to launch vaccination awareness campaign for people with disability

Karnataka-Samarthanam Trust to launch Vaccination awareness campaign for the people with disability. Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled that works for the empowerment of persons with disabilities and the underserved through its diverse initiatives will launch Covid Vaccination awareness campaign in Bengaluru today. The campaign aims at creating awareness and clear misconception about the vaccine among the people with disability.

Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Ashwath Narayana will launch the awareness campaign and flag off awareness campaign vehicle in the city today. AIR correspondent reports, Samarthanam Trust focused on providing quality education, accommodation, nutritious food, vocational training and placement based rehabilitation to persons with disabilities is embarking upon educating the people with disability on the importance of Covid vaccination. The founder Chairman of Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled Dr. G K Mahantesh spoke to AIR news on their new initiative to create awareness about Covid vaccination among people with disabilities.

Dr. Mahantesh said that they are distributing the dry ration kits to the persons with disability and health kits to the Asha workers today.
