‘Cheer 4 India’ campaign: Selfie Stands install at unique and historic locations in Leh and Kargil

From Karakoram to Kanyakumari, Indians are cheering for Country’s Olympic-bound contingent. In Ladakh, locals and tourists are taking selfies and wishing success for Indian Contingent participating in the Tokyo Olympics.

AIR correspondent reports that under nationwide campaign ‘Cheer 4 India’, Ladakh administration and Sports Authority of India have installed Selfie Stands at unique and historic locations in Leh and Kargil.

In Leh, on the World’s highest motorable road Khardung La, famous tourist destination Pangong Lake and in Leh main bazaar selfie points are attracting hundreds of sports lovers and sending good wishes for success of Indian players and athletes. Similarly in Kargil, selfie stand at TFC Bemathang by SAI is attracting tourists.

Apart from this selfie stands at Drass War memorial and at last village on LOC Hunderman will be installed shortly. Tourists while enjoying their holiday or adventure tour in  Land of Lamas and High Passes, are sending good wishes for success and sportsmanship in Tokyo Olympics in Land of Rising Sun.
