Madhya Pradesh to relax night curfew in urban areas as Covid situation improves

The Madhya Pradesh government yesterday decided to relax night curfew hours in the urban areas as the coronavirus situation continues to improve.

As per the new guidelines, the curfew timings will be relaxed by an hour. It would remain in force between 11 pm to 6 am. State on Friday recorded 43 COVID-19 cases and eight deaths while 54 patients were recovered from infection.

AIR Correspondent reports that the active cases in the state reduced to 514, including 106 in Bhopal and 104 in Indore. Of 52 districts in the state, 35 districts did not record a single new case. Special campaign is being conducted today for the second dose of Covaxine.

For second dose of Covishield, a similar campaign will be held on July 5 in the Vaccination Maha-Abhiyan being run in the state.
