Sensex loses 164 points, Nifty deals at 15,680

The Sensex and the Nifty today witnessed modest losses. Both stocks fell around 0.3 percent amid negative cues from other Asian equity markets.

The Sensex at Bombay Stock Exchange lost 164 points, or 0.31 percent, to close at 52,319. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange also fell 42 points, or 0.26 percent, to deal at 15,680.
