Kushal Gupta – A Social Worker Who Is An Embodiment of Compassion

Kushal Gupta an esteemed name in the social circle of Delhi who is a synonym of kindness towards the troubled and helpless section of society.

 

From the very young age of 19, when most of the boys relish the other joys of teenage fun, Kushal’s heart was in to find ways to make life easier for people who are vulnerable, oppressed, and going through hard times due to poverty. From that time, Kushal made his primary mission to enhance well-being and help meet the basic and complex needs of the people.
Since last year from when the Covid-19 pandemic hit the country severely, so many people’s lives turmoiled due to this sudden change in the demographics of daily life. In the Lockdown, several small and medium businesses got shut down and because of it countless people lost their jobs and livelihood. In such a state of turbulence, social reformer like Kushal Gupta come ahead to help the people with as many as resources he had. In this time, along with frontline workers, social workers like Kushal served the people with exemplary courage and compassion.
During the first wave when daily wage earners and laborers were returning to their native places due to uncertainty, Kushal and his team helped people with food and other necessities. The people who couldn’t go back and stuck at their places without any means to earn the living, Kushal Gupta distributed the food packages and medical equipment for the well-being of society.
The second wave of Covid-19 hit hard the country. India is amongst the worst-hit countries where daily infected cases rose above 4,00,000 and the deaths in hospitals and homes increased many folds. The health infrastructure of the country was shattered, and people were facing the burn of hospital beds lacking and medical oxygen shortage. In such a scary time, Kushal Gupta with his team of like-minded people, helped the patients and families to arrange the hospital beds and oxygen concentrators. The Ambulances with advanced facilities were arranged to help people in reaching to the hospitals on time. Due to all these herculin efforts and by god’s grace, Kushal and the team were able to save the lives of so many critically ill patients.
From the last 2 decades, Kushal is trying to help people across the age and background in as many ways possible. He is providing direct services and required help all over the country. Kushal helps in guiding people to critical resources and counsels them with his good-natured advice to bring change in their livings. He constantly advocates for the policies for changing and improving social conditions and strengthen social networks.
