Cabinet gives nod for revised implementation strategy of BharatNet through PPP model in 16 States

The Cabinet has accorded approval for revised implementation strategy of BharatNet through Public-Private Partnership model in 16 States of the country with optical fibre connectivity to all inhabited villages. Union Minister for Communications Ravi Shankar Prasad gave details about the decision during the media briefing.

Cabinet, has given its approval for availing the benefit under Aatmanirbhar Bharat Rojgar Yojana for another nine months from 30th June this year to 31st March, 2022.
