Meghalaya reports 378 fresh new COVID-19 cases, four deaths in last 24 hrs

In Meghalaya, four COVID-19 related deaths were reported in the last 24 hours; one each from East Khasi Hills, Ri Bhoi, South West Khasi Hills and West Jaintia Hills districts bringing the total number of COVID fatalities to 831.

A statement from the Directorate of Health Services informed that 489 recoveries were also registered. The state also logged 378 fresh new COVID-19 cases.

Till date, the total number of confirmed cases in the state stands at 49,161 out of which 4,263 are active while 44,067 are recovered and 831 deaths.

East Khasi Hills district has the highest number of active cases with 1,323 and the maximum number of fatalities with 619 cases.

Meghalaya has administered 6,78,306 does of COVID vaccines across the State.
