Two drones spotted at Kalu Chak military station in Jammu district

In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir two Drones were spotted at Kalu Chak military station in Jammu district during the intervening night of June 27 and 28. Defence spokesperson told AIR News that the first Drone was spotted hovering near the Military Station at around 11.45 pm while the 2nd Drone was seen in the wee hours today at 2.40 am .  Army personnel deployed on the duty fired several rounds on the hovering Drones following which Drones fled from the spot. Further details are awaited.

AIR Jammu correspondent has reported that security has been tightened in and around military station Kalu Chak after two drones spotted. Army and Police have started search operation in Kalu Chak.

Earlier, yesterday two low intensity blasts shook the Technical area of Jammu Air Force Station with the blast causing some damage to the roof of a building.  Two Drones are suspected to have been used in carrying out the attack on the Air Force Station.  Police have already registered an FIR in this case and investigations are underway.
