Wearing-in ceremony of 5 Minister Cabinet in Puducherry to be held this afternoon

In the Union Territory of Puducherry, the swearing-in ceremony of the 5 Minister Cabinet will be held at the Lieutenant Governor’s office – Raj Nivas, at 2.30 pm today.

President Ram Nath Kovind gave his approval to the list of cabinet members submitted by Chief Minister Rangasamy to the Lieutenant Governor Dr.Tamilisai Soundararajan earlier this week. The new ministers will be A Namasivayam, AK Sai J Saravanan Kumar from BJP and K. Lakshmi Narayanan, C Djeacoumar, and Chandra Priyanka from All India NR Congress. The Chief Minister Rangasamy returns to power for the 4 th time to lead the NDA government. Mrs. Chandra Priyanka from Karaikal region is the first timer and a woman accommodated in the cabinet after 4 decades. Sai J Saravanan also the first minister.
