Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated a Japanese Zen garden and Kaizen academy at the Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA) today.
Addressing the occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said both India and Japan share historic cultural ties as well as common vision for the future. PM said both the countries are working towards strengthening the Special Strategic partnership and Global Partnership for which a special arrangement called Japan plus has been made in PMO.
Mr Modi said, along with external development, both India and Japan are also committed towards inner peace and growth. He said ‘Zen’ in Japan is similar to ‘Dhyan’ in India.
Our correspondent reports that Zen-Kaizen” at AMA will showcase several elements of Japanese art, culture, landscape and architecture.
It is a joint endeavour of the Japan Information and Study Centre at AMA and Indo-Japan Friendship Association (IJFA), Gujarat, supported by the Hyogo International Association (HIA), Japan.
