BJP criticises Delhi govt over SC panel’s report on oxygen requirement

BJP today criticised Delhi government saying the data presented by Oxygen Audit committee in the report is shocking. Speaking to media, party spokesperson Sambit Patra said, it is unbelievable to see the AAP government politicised Oxygen supply when Covid was at its peak. Mr Patra said it is petty politics. Mr Patra said that the Report of oxygen audit panel appointed by the Supreme Court has said that Delhi government had shown its oxygen requirement by inflating it by 4 times.

Delhi chief minister Manish Sisodia reacting to the Oxygen audit report said, did the doctors, hospitals, patients and families lie that there was an Oxygen shortage in Delhi? He claimed that the report is fabricated. Mr Sisodia said BJP leaders have been talking about a report, which does not even exist.

Meanwhile the Supreme Court audit panel in a report said, pro-active steps by Union government during COVID first wave helped to quickly enhance Oxygen production during second wave.
