PM Modi’s blog post | Centre-State Bhagidari

COVID-19 has come up with huge challenges for both the government and the citizens of the country. One of the major challenges was in terms of policy making and ensuring adequate resources for the welfare of people.

PM Modi, in his latest blog titled “Reforms by Conviction and Incentives” apprised the Bhagidari of both Centre and States in leading the fight against COVID-19.

The PM informed that in the backdrop of the financial crunch seen across the world, Indian states were able to borrow significantly more in 2020-21. In 2020-21, the States were able to raise an extra Rs 1.06 lakh crores and this significant increase in the availability of resources was made possible by an approach of Centre-State Bhagidari.
