482 fresh COVID-19 cases reported in Meghalaya

In Meghalaya, 482 fresh new COVID-19 cases were reported in the last 24 hours bringing the total active cases to 4312. The State also recorded nine COVID 19 related deaths, three from East Khasi Hills district, four from Ri Bhoi district and one each from South West Khasi Hills and West Jaintia Hills district.

The Directorate of Health Services informed that the total number of COVID-19 fatalities have reached 797. East Khasi Hills district has recorded the highest number of COVID-19 related deaths with 601 cases. In the last 24 hours, 434 recoveries were also reported from various districts across the State.

So far, Meghalaya has reported a total of 46,458 confirmed COVID 19 cases out of which 4,312 are active; 41,349 are recovered and 797 deaths.
