Puducherry Assembly summoned on Jun 16 to elect Speaker

Puducherry Lieutenant Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan has summoned the Legislative Assembly from Wednesday.

In a press communique the Assembly Secretary Munisamy said that the Lieutenant Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan also fixed June 16th as the date for holding the election of the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly.

He further said that the Nomination form can be had from the Secretary and the same will be received till 12 noon on 15th June.

Necessary notice regarding filing of nominations has been sent to all the members individually, he added.
