Meghalaya records 514 fresh COVID19 cases

Meghalaya  recorded 514 fresh COVID-19 cases bringing the total active cases to 4,993. The Directorate of Health Services informed in a statement that the state reported 10 related deaths in the last 24 hours taking the total number of fatalities to 714. The state also reported 526 recoveries. With this, the total number of recovered cases moved up to 35,393.

So far, East Khasi Hills district has the highest number of active COVID-19 cases with 1,877 followed by West Garo Hills district with 741 and West Jaintia Hills district with 644 cases. The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases stands at 41,100.
