Over 24 crore COVID vaccine doses administered in country so far

More than 24 crore COVID vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far under the world’s largest vaccination drive.

The Union Health Ministry said, more than 31 lakh 31 thousand vaccine doses were administered till 7 P.M. on Wednesday.

The country had launched Nationwide Vaccination Drive on the 16th of January this year.

The Ministry said, over three crore 38 lakh persons across 37 States and Union Territories have received Vaccine doses since the start of Phase-3 of the vaccination drive.

The states of Bihar, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal have inoculated more than 10 lakh beneficiaries of the age group 18-44 years with the first dose of COVID vaccine.
