Gujarat records 778 new cases of COVID-19

Gujarat has recorded 778 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. According to the state health department, 2613 patients recovered during the last 24 hours and were discharged from the hospitals.

AIR correspondent reports that total 7 lakh 90 thousand 906 patients have been recovered from Covid19 in Gujarat till now. The recovery rate further improved and reached up to 96.80 percent. Gujarat has now 16 thousand 162 active cases at present, out of which 363 patients are on ventilator. Meanwhile, 2 lakh 51 thousand 192 persons have been vaccinated in the state yesterday.

Gujarat government has exempted the hotels, resorts, restaurants and water parks in the state from paying property tax and fixed electricity charges for one year. This relief has been granted from 1st April 2020 to 31st March 2021 due to Covid19 pandemic.
