Recovery rate from COVID infection increased to almost 97 % in Chhattisgarh

In Chhattisgarh, the recovery rate from COVID infection has increased to almost 97 percent. About 54 thousand samples were tested yesterday in the state. Out of these, only 1619 persons were found Covid positive. The test positivity rate in the state has come down to about three percent.

Meanwhile, the Director General of Police of Chhattisgarh has honoured more than five hundred policemen for their exemplary services during the Corona crisis. AIR correspondent reports that Director General of Chhattisgarh Police D.M. Awasthi has honoured more than five hundred officers and employees of the State Police with the “Corona Warriors Samman” for performing their duty with diligence in difficult circumstances during the Corona crisis.

Addressing a virtual program held yesterday, the DGP said that even at the peak of infection, the police officers and employees who were on duty have shown amazing sensitivity without caring for their lives. He said that these corona warriors have also made the role of public welfare of the police meaningful with their service spirit.
