Telangana state is celebrating its 8th Formation Day today on a low key in the wake of COVID -19. Governor Dr Tamilisai Sounderarajan and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao have greeted people of the state on the occasion. Formation Day celebrations will be held in all the Districts and the Capital City Hyderabad, in accordance with the COVID norms.
The Chief Minister will pay homage to Telangana Martyrs later in the day and the ministers will join the official programmes in the districts. However, only 10 people will be allowed to join the celebrations at each place. The Chief Minister in a message said that the state has excelled in all sectors in the past 7 years and that a strong foundation for stability was provided.
