Virtually briefing media, Party Spokesperson Sambit Patra said, Government of India has been fully engaged for the import of vaccine since the middle of last year. Mr Patra said, the Russian vaccine’s production will be increased in India with Dr. Reddy Lab. He said, Bharat Biotech has its own license and  the Centre has decided that the company will share its license with three more companies, so that the production of Covaxin is increased. Mr Patra said, private hospitals have procured over 9 lakh vaccines on their own. He said, private hospitals have procured more vaccines than the Delhi government.
