Oxygen Express crosses 15000 MT mark in delivering Oxygen relief to nation

Overcoming all hurdles and finding new solutions, the Indian Railways is continuing its journey of bringing relief by delivering Liquid Medical Oxygen(LMO) to various states across the country.

Oxygen Express today crossed 15000 MT mark in delivering Oxygen relief to the Nation. The First Oxygen Express to Assam with 80 MT of Oxygen relief reached today. Delivery of Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) to Karnataka crossed 1000 MT.  234 Oxygen Expresses with 936 tankers completed their journey. It brought relief to 14 States. Our correspondent reports, nine loaded Oxygen Expresses are running with more than 569 MT of LMO in 31 tankers.

Oxygen Expresses reached out to 14 states namely Uttarakhand, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Haryana, Telangana, Punjab, Kerala, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and  Assam. The Tracks are kept open and high ness is maintained to ensure  smooth movement of Oxygen Expresses.

All this is done in such a way that the speed of other Freight Operations doesn’t get reduced.
