Thunderstorm and light rain lashes various parts of Delhi NCR in early hours

A thunderstorm and light rain lashed various parts of the national capital region in the early hours today. The rain also brought down the temperature below normal and provided much-needed respite from the hot weather to the residents. According to the India Meteorological Department, Delhi is likely to receive rain for the next two days. The weatherman has predicted partly cloudy sky and the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 36 degrees Celsius.
