Kerala records 37,290 new COVID cases, taking active caseload to 4,23,957

Kerala recorded 37,290 new COVID cases today, taking the active caseload to 4,23,957. Test Positivity rate has shown a slight fall
and registered 26.77 per cent. Recoveries reported were at 32,978. With 79 deaths confirmed of COVID, Corona death toll has surged to 5,958. A total of 1,39,287 samples have been tested in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, State Health Minister K K Shailaja has said that the COVID situation in Kerala is under control. The Minister said, the Government is trying all measures to prevent oxygen shortage in the state.
