Assam CM urges militant groups of state to shun violence

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma urged militant groups of the state to shun violence .

Talking to newspersons after the oath taking ceremony, Sarma appealed ULFA leader Paresh Baruah too to return to the mainstream. He said that the first cabinet meeting of his government will be held tomorrow. Sarma said that his government would take steps to fulfill poll promises.
