Gujarat has recorded 12,545 new cases of COVID-19 during the last 24 hours. According to the state health department, 13,021 patients recovered and were discharged from the hospitals during the same period. AIR correspondent reports that, new cases in Gujarat are constantly falling since last one week.
Similarly, the number of patients recovered from COVID19 is also increasing. This has reduced the crucial waiting period for getting ambulances and hospital beds significantly. Maximum 3,884 new cases of COVID19 reported from Ahmedabad, while Surat recorded 1039 new cases. 123 patients lost their lives during the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, 90 Medical personnel of Indian Navy have joined DRDO run Dhanvantari Hospital in Ahmedabad. These include anesthesiologists, physicians, medical officers, nursing staff and paramedical staff. With these additions, the total manpower provided to the hospital by the Navy has gone up to 169, which highlights the Indian Navy’s commitment to the service of the Nation.
