Tamil Nadu registers more than 21,000 fresh cases of COVID-19

Tamil Nadu registered more than 21 thousand fresh cases of COVID-19 yesterday. DMK leader M.K.Stalin has appealed to the people to stay safe at home and not to venture out without safety measures. Asking people to make it a movement, he said that restrictions were only to protect people from the pandemic.

AIR correspondent reports that in health related development, thirteen patients died this morning at Kanchipuram Government hospital this morning. The district Collector of Kanchipuram has said that an inquiry has been ordered into the incident and denied that it was due to lack of oxygen or Covid.
