Sikkim reports 221 new cases of COVID-19

Sikkim today reported 221 new cases of COVID-19. With this, the state’s case tally has risen to 8,919 with 2,050 active cases and 6,515 recoveries. Four new deaths due to COVID-19 were recorded today, taking total fatalities to 155.

Of the 221 new cases, East Sikkim reported 171, taking the district’s total cases to 6,738. South Sikkim reported 24 new cases, taking the total number of cases to 1,316 and West Sikkim also reported 24 new cases with the total cases reaching 536.

North Sikkim recorded two new cases taking the district tally to 130 cases. New 89 recoveries were also recorded in the state in the last 24 hours.
