Himachal Pradesh govt to impose curfew in entire state from 7th May

In view of sharp increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in Himachal Pradesh, the state government has decided to impose curfew in the entire state from 7th of this month. The curfew will continue till midnight of 16th of May. During the curfew, all government and private offices and establishments would remain closed. However, all essential services including health, electricity, telecommunication, water supply and sanitation would remain open during the period.

The State Cabinet has decided that work will continue at civil work sites, horticultural, agricultural and other project sites. Educational institutions in the State would remain closed till 31st of May
