AIR correspondent reports that, the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai – MCGM stated that only those citizens who are to take the second dose will be vaccinated from today, at selected government and civic-run centres. The drive had been suspended since 30th April due to the shortage of vaccines.
The MCGM in a statement said that citizens coming in for the second dose should come to the centres with their first dose message or certificate. The MCGM will continue with vaccination for the 18 to 44 age group at five centres from this morning, between 9 am and 5 pm. It will only be for citizens who have registered and been allotted a slot by MCGM. For today too, each centre will have only 500 doses.
