Renowned AIR Newsreader Sushil Javeri passes away due to COVID-19

Renowned AIR Newsreader of yesteryears Sushil Javeri passed away today in Ahmedabad, Gujarat due to COVID-19.

Mr. Javeri, who was 90 years old, was battling against the COVID-19 infection for the past few days.

He served in News Services Division of All India Radio for nearly four decades.

Mr. Javeri famous for his immaculate English baritone voice received his early education at Craig School at Ealing in London and joined AIR drawing inspiration from the historic broadcasts of Melville de Mellow.
