COVID-19: Madhya Pradesh CM directs officials to pay special attention to high-positivity districts of state

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has directed officials to pay special attention to high-positivity districts of the state. He was addressing a meeting of Corona Control Core Group. The Chief Minister said that with the efforts of everyone, the slogans- ‘My village-Corona-free village’, ‘My locality-Corona-free locality’ and ‘My city-Corona-free city’ should be made successful.  AIR Correspondent reports that the 15 districts of the state including Tikamgarh ,  Shivpuri, Datia , Anuppur  Singrauli ,Narsinghpur ,Sidhi  Katni ,Gwalior, Niwari ,Sehore Bhopal, Dindori, Betul and Morena have an average positivity rate of more than 25% for 7 days.

Chief Minister instructed that home isolation system should be made perfect. 251 COVID care centers have been started in all 52 districts in which patients with mild symptoms are being kept. The Chief Minister informed that the state has continuous and adequate supply of oxygen.  Seven new oxygen plants started functioning in the state. Most new oxygen plants will be completed by the end of May. Approval of 11 more oxygen plants has been received from the Government of India.
