Jammu Police takes stringent measures for implementation of COVID guidelines

In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu Police has taken stringent measures for the implementation of COVID-19 guidelines.

AIR Jammu correspondent reports that in a drive against the violators of the law, a massive action has been taken by Jammu Police in which several different FIRs are registered against the violators of District Magistrate’s Order.

In total 36 FIRs were lodged within 24 hours by Jammu Police. 35 people were arrested and 30 shops were sealed in violation of the COVID-19 guidelines. The police authorities have requested the public to follow SOPs to break the infection chain. It is important that people adhere to the SOPs so that the further spread of the virus can be checked.
