|In Leh, Disaster Management Authority has announced Covid curfew for this weekend across the district. Amidst One thousand four hundred and eighty two cases in the district, DDMA Chairman Shrikant Suse announced weekend corona curfew to contain the spread of coronavirus.
As per the directions from Health Ministry to districts where ten percent of positivity reported, to contain the spread of coronavirus the Leh DDMA Chairman Shrikant Suse announced weekend curfew in the district. Leh district has fourteen hundred eighty two active positive cases as on today. As Leh district is falling under Health Ministry guidelines, the weekend curfew is announced to control the spread of virus with restrictions on intermingling amongst the people.
Curfew begins today at nine in the night till five in the morning of Monday. Essential and emergency services, Army and Paramilitary movement, inbound air passengers with valid boarding pass or ticket, including public transport to serve the relaxed categories with not more than Fifty percent occupancy are allowed during the restricted period.
Agricultural activities, load carriers, transportation of perishable items are allowed with covid appropriate behavior and valid documents. Authorities have made online arrangements to procure E-Pass and help lines in case of any emergency.
