DGCA extends suspension of international commercial passenger flight services till 31st May

Aviation regulator DGCA today extended the suspension of international commercial passenger flight services till the 31st of May this year. Scheduled international flight operations were suspended from March 23 last year in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

However, DGCA said that international scheduled flights will be allowed on select routes by the competent authority on a case-to-case basis. The restriction will not apply to cargo flights and flights specifically approved by the Aviation regulator.
