Madhya Pradesh government is working on war footing to augment oxygen production in the state.
AIR Correspondent reports, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has said that every effort to provide oxygen in all the districts for treatment of COVID-19 patients is being made by state government.
Out of the 8 oxygen plants approved by the Government of India for the state, four oxygen plants have started in Khandwa, Ujjain, Shivpuri and Seoni districts.
Two plants will start in Mandsaur and Jabalpur in the next 2 days and in Ratlam, Morena district in the next one week.
Air separation unit using new C.S.I.R. technology is also being established in the district hospitals of five districts, Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Rewa and Shahdol.
Meanwhile over 75 lakh 77 thousand 900 people have been vaccinated in the state.
