Maharashtra govt issues guidelines for Ram Navami celebrations on Wednesday

In the wake of the outbreak of Coronavirus all festivals have been celebrated in a simple manner since last one year in Maharashtra. On similar lines, the state government has also issued guidelines for Ram Navami celebrations tomorrow, asking people to celebrate the festival in a very simple manner by staying at home and avoiding gathering at public places.

The press release issued today by the state home department said due to the increasing number of coronavirus cases temples and other religious places have been closed in the state. The state government urged the temple management to arrange darshan facility through online, cable network, website or through facebook if possible.

It further added that morning processions or rallies to mark the festival have also been prohibited. It said that any decision taken by the administration at the local level should be strictly followed.
