Gujarat reports 10 thousand 340 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours

Gujarat reported 10 thousand 340 new Corona cases  yesterday. State has now 61 thousand 647 active cases. 110 patients have lost their lives due to Covid19 in the state yesterday. Maximum 3641 new cases reported from Ahmedabad, while Surat recorded 1924 new cases. 3981 patients recovered and were discharged from the various hospitals. Meanwhile, the state has doubled its facilities for the RT-PCR test. According to the state health department, 26 educational institutions will start RT-PCR testing from today. The work of sample collection will be carried out by the medical staff. Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has also launched a second drive through RT-PCR test camp at Vastral RTO ground.
