Gujarat govt postpones State board exams of class 10 and 12

Gujarat government has postponed the state board examinations of class 10 and 12. Both the examinations were scheduled to be held from 10th to 25th May. The decision to postpone the state board examinations has been taken in view of the current situation of Covid19 pandemic. State government has also announced to grant mass promotion to the students of class 1 to 9 and class 11.

Quoting the official sources, AIR correspondent reports that the state government will review the situation on 15th of May and announce the new dates of the examinations. The students will get at least 15 days time for the preparations between the announcement of the new schedule of examinations and start of examinations. The state government has already suspended the offline teaching of class 1 to 12 across the state.
