Corona vaccination campaign continues vigorously in Chhattisgarh

In Chhattisgarh, the corona vaccination campaign is continuing vigorously. Till now about 45 lakh people have been vaccinated in the state.

AIR correspondent reports, in Chhattisgarh, nearly four lakh people have been given both doses of Covid vaccine.

State Nodal Officer of Corona Vaccination, Dr. Priyanka Shukla said that 88 percent of health workers as well as 85 percent of frontline workers have been vaccinated in the state.

Besides, sixty percent of people over the age group of 45 years have also been given the first dose of covid vaccine.

On Tuesday about 1 lakh people have been vaccinated in the state.

Meanwhile, In Chhattisgarh, the rates of various tests for Covid-19, including RT-PCR and rapid antigen, have been reduced.

The new rates will be applicable in all private hospitals and pathology centres with immediate effect.

The order has been issued by the State Health Department in this regard.

The rate for RT-PCR test has now been reduced to Rs. 550.

Similarly, for the rapid antigen test, the rate has been slashed to only Rs. 150.

Nearly forty to fifty thousand samples are being tested every day for identification of Covid positive patients in the state.
