J&K: One territorial Army soldier shot dead by terrorists in J&K’s Anantnag

In Jammu and Kashmir, a Territorial Army soldier Mohd Saleem was shot by terrorists last evening at his residence in Jablipora near Bijbehara in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district. Defence Spokesperson Lt Col Emron Musavi said that the 43-year-old soldier was shot by two terrorists and sustained severe head injuries. The soldier was immediately rushed to Govt Medical College Srinagar, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The Spokesperson said that Mohd Saleem was a brave and soldier who had been awarded with Chief of Army Staff Commendation Card twice and a Northern Army Commander Commendation Card.
