Total fatality due to COVID pandemic in Manipur reaches 132

In Manipur, five persons expired due to COVID-19 positive in the past twenty four hours taking the total fatality due to the pandemic in the State to 132.
 
On the other hand, 156 persons including 2 personnel from the Central Armed Police Force were confirmed as new COVID-19 positive in the past twenty four hours in Manipur thus making the total count of positive cases so far in the State to 16777. 

The new positive cases are being shifted to the COVID Care facilities for further treatment.
 
One hundred sixty nine persons were discharged in the past twenty four hours in the State and the recovery rate is 74.87 percent.
 
So far Manipur has recorded total recovered and discharged cases of 12562 while the number of active cases is 4083.
