About 11.58 lakh non-gazetted Railway employees to get bonus equivalent to 78-day wages

Railways Ministry has said that about 11.58  lakh non-gazetted Railway employees have been granted bonus equivalent to 78 days wages for 2019-20.

The bonus to railway employees has been estimated to be of  over Rs. 2081 crore.

The Union Cabinet had on Wednesday accepted the proposal of the Ministry of Railways for payment of Productivity Linked Bonus equivalent to 78 days’ wages for all eligible non-gazetted employees of Railway.

The maximum amount payable per eligible railway employee is Rs. 17, 951 for 78 days.

The Ministry said, payment of Productivity Linked Bonus to eligible railway employees is made each year before Dusshera.
