Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh has said that Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh have witnessed development at various fronts in the last one year.
The Minister said that these developmental activities range from political developments at grass roots level to administrative and governance reforms and sectoral developments in the field of education, power and roads.
Dr. Singh was speaking on Friday after laying foundation stone for various construction works under the second phase of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in Jammu and Kashmir through Video Conference. Under the scheme, 28 road projects will be constructed in the state costing nearly 175 crore rupees.
The Minister also assured the Union Territory Government of Jammu and Kashmir of full support in case any issues and constraints are faced by the local administration.
